Route tracing with blame
Every target is traced automatically. BadHop tracks each hop's min, average and max, how much latency each hop adds, and flags the one most likely to be causing trouble.
Expert Advice
Plain-English findings: a baseline that's drifting, jitter over your threshold, a route that changed since the last trace, the hop where loss begins. It only tells you things the graphs don't already show.

Questions
Does BadHop send any of my data anywhere?
No. Your targets, results and sessions stay on your computer. BadHop's only network traffic is the pings and traceroutes to the hosts you add. Even the licence check happens offline.
Do I need administrator rights?
No. BadHop pings and traces through the same Windows components as ping and
tracert, so it runs as a standard user. Packet capture needs Npcap, which you install once.
What does the free version leave out?
Nothing except the number of targets. You can monitor up to 3 at once, with every feature, for as long as you like.
Is a licence a subscription?
No. You pay once and the licence never expires. It includes 12 months of updates, and after that you can keep using the version you have indefinitely.
Which licence do I need?
Personal is for private, non-commercial use. Business covers use within any business or for-profit organisation, or for paid client work, whatever its size, including freelancers and contractors. It's sold per seat, so buy exactly as many as you need, starting from one.
